Using the System Color Picker

Check Browser Support
The system color picker button appears if your browser supports the EyeDropper API (Chrome, Edge, and some Chromium browsers).

Activate EyeDropper
Click the 'Use System Color Picker' button. Your cursor will change to a magnifier/eyedropper icon.

Pick from Anywhere
Move the magnifier over any pixel on your screen (not just the uploaded image) and click to capture that color.

Color is Captured
The picked color appears in the color panel with all formats. It's also saved to your color history automatically.
Managing Color History

Automatic History
Every color you pick is automatically saved to the color history panel. The tool keeps up to 16 most recent colors.
π‘ Tip: Duplicate colors are not saved - only unique colors are stored.

Click to Recall
Click any color swatch in the history panel to recall that color. Its details will appear in the current color panel.

Copy from History
You can copy color codes directly from history colors. Just click a swatch to select it, then use the copy buttons.
